Jesse Brown VA Medical Recognized with Climate Award

June 28, 2022

Jesse Brown VA Medical Center has been recognized as the 2022 recipient of the Climate and Health Innovation Award by the non-profit Healthcare Without Harm’s Health Care Climate Council. This award recognizes “innovative work that addresses the health and equity impacts of climate change.” The facility has incorporated groundbreaking technology to capture waste anesthesia gases for recycling and reuse, rather than releasing the potent greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
